Tripod Farmers recently experienced a cyber security incident where we identified that an unauthorised third party gained access to a portion of our internal IT environment.
As soon as we discovered the incident, we engaged experts to provide us with advice, including assessing the potential data impact.
We wish to assure current and former employees, contractors and other stakeholders that the protection of personal information is a priority, and we have taken all appropriate steps to investigate the incident. Our experts have confirmed that our systems have been secured, and since becoming aware of the incident we have implemented additional measures to help prevent a recurrence.
Tripod Farmers has notified the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner about the incident.
Our investigation has identified that information relating to current and former employees and contractors of Tripod Farmers may have been impacted by this incident. This potentially includes personal information collected during onboarding, employment and contractor engagement processes.
Tripod Farmers has taken steps to notify potentially affected individuals about the incident where current contact details were available. For potentially affected individuals whose current contact details are not available, we are providing this notice to ensure they are made aware of the incident, the potential impact on their information, and the support available to them.
Tripod Farmers is also aware that information believed to have been taken from Tripod Farmers' systems has been published online by the unauthorised third party responsible for the incident.
